Blog Update Part One

I know, I know. You thought our family had become victims of the swine flu. Actually, we just haven't been in the blogging mood. We have actually had a lot going on, so it will take me a few posts to update.

A few weeks ago we went to San Diego on a Moon Family Vacation. It was the first time I had been on a trip with all of Jake's family, and we had a great time. Here are a few highlights:
Jake thought he would try out the manta ray food at Sea World before he let them have a taste. He always says he doesn't like seafood but I don't believe him. Carson took his job as a tour guide very seriously. So seriously, in fact, that he didn't fall asleep once the whole time we were at Sea World, the beach, the San Diego Zoo, or the San Diego temple grounds. He does not want to miss out on a party. He did fall asleep one time in the car, and here......on the plane ride home. He was really happy the whole time. He just refused to sleep. Here he is at the beach.He didn't like the water. It was pretty cold. He liked playing in the sand until it stuck to his fingers and he couldn't get it off. He did go swimming for the first time in the pool at the hotel. It took him a while, but he eventually liked it. Here we are at the San Diego temple. We stopped there on our way to the beach, hence the swimming suits. It was beautiful, and we had a great time.
