In our case, it is built on lots of rocks. Lots and lots and lots of them. So many rocks, in fact, that the excavator decided his one-day job is actually going to take a day and a half. We don't mind, though, the build has finally started. It felt like Christmas today as we eagerly waited to be able to run out to the lot first thing in the morning. Neither of us even slept the night before (although that had more to do with a sick 19 month old and a restless 6 month old than it did with our excitement).
We'll call this Day 1... easy to remember, what with it being March 1st and all. I'm sure there will be more posts on days ahead. For now, some photos...
